El proyecto partió de un taller de arte colaborativo y una investigación previa sobre las características e historia del parque, sus habitantes y las diferentes situaciones que se dan su día a día. Del taller resultaron diferentes intervenciones que fueron desarrolladas en este céntrico parque de Medellín de forma colectiva junto a un grupo de artistas locales.
La mayoría de participantes tenían el recuerdo de un estanque de patos en el parque y como lo visitaban de niños. En la actualidad, en vez del estanque con patos hay una gran fuente y otra más pequeña sin agua y cercada con una vaya, la intervención consistió en recrear ese recuerdo por medio de patos de juguete en la fuente verjada.
The project began with a collaborative art workshop and previous research on the characteristics and history of the park, its inhabitants and the different situations that occur every day. The results were developed in this park in conjunction with a group of local artists.
Most participants remember a duck pond in the park and how they visit the children. At present, the pond with the ducks is not exist, the intervention consistsed of recreating that memory with ducks toy on the fountain.
El parque Bolívar tiene una gran vida y muchísimas personas que pasan allí el día y la noche, entre estas personas hay un gran número de vendedores que se ganan allí la vida. Partiendo de este punto se propuso homenajear a los trabajadores del parque, a los diferentes puestos móviles que pueblan el parque y pasan todo el día vendiendo café, patatas, chicles, etc.
Bolivar Park has a great life and many people who spend the day and night, among these people there are a large number of sellers who earn their lives there. This point was proposed to pay tribute to the workers of the park, that they spend all day selling coffee, potatoes, chewing gum, etc.
En esta misma línea dentro del parque podemos encontrar un gran número de vendedores ambulantes que trabajan sin permisos en el parque, para ellos se realizó otro homenaje a su trabajo y destacando como tratados por parte de las instituciones.
In this same line within the park we can find a lot of street vendors who work without permission in the park. for them another tribute was made.
Uno de los grandes problemas de la zona es la prostitución y dentro de esta, la prostitución infantil. Se planteó trabajar con este problema por medio de una pegatina, puesta en diferentes puntos del parque, en la que se podía leer +18.
One of the biggest problems in the area is prostitution and within this, child prostitution. It was proposed to work with this problem by means of a sticker, placed in different points of the park, in which +18 can be read.
También es usual encontrar infinidad de papeles publicitarios tanto de prostitutas como de prostitutos por todo el parque, partiendo de estos anuncios se planteó realizar diferentes versiones de ellos jugando con la palabra “hot”, haciendo referencia a la violencia en la ciudad.
It is also common to find an infinity of prostitutes advertising papers, in entire park, the group did different versions of them playing with the word "hot", referring to violence in the city.
En el centro del parque se puede encontrar una escultura ecuestre de Simón Bolívar en cuyo pedestal reza la frase: “Quisiera tener una fortuna material para dar a cada colombiano. Pero no tengo nada: no tengo más que corazón para amarlos y una espada para defenderlos.” Partiendo de esta frase se propuso a las diferentes personas que pasaban por la zona escribir en un posit que tendrían, querían o podían dar al libertador, estos posit fueron puestos en el pedestal de la escultura.

En los alrededores del parque se pueden encontrar varios comercios de jabones, todos ellos con nombre muy sugerentes, la intervención consistió en copiar las marcas de jabones y descontextualizarlas dentro del parque por medio de pegatinas.
In the surroundings of the park you can find several shops of soaps, all of them with very suggestive names, the intervention consisted in copying the brands of soaps and decontextualizing them inside the park with stickers.
Otra de las intervenciones consistió en recoger la basura del parque y ordenarla en una tela, de la misma forma que se hace en el mercado de SanAlejo todos los sábados en el parque.
Another intervention consisted in collecting the garbage from the park and ordering it in a cloth, in the same way that it is done in the SanAlejo market every Saturday in the park.
La última acción consistió en destacar la gran cantidad de bancos, espacios de descanso y reunión que hay en el parque, para ello se precintaron y empaquetaron los bancos como si fueran a ser enviados por mensajería.
The last action consisted of highlighting the large number of banks, rest and meeting spaces that are in the park, for this they sealed and packaged the banks as if they were to be sent by courier.
